What I realized while cooking and cleaning
My sister and I were hella spoiled, no joke. We didn’t do chores, mom let us do literally whatever we wanted. We weren’t rich, so we weren’t spoiled in getting material things, but still when we were tired from sports or school, momma let us rest while she cooked and cleaned for us. Living in the apartments now, getting my own groceries, handling my own budget, cleaning up after myself, I really appreciate my mom. Every time I see her now I hug her and tell her that. Can’t wait to do it this weekend. I love my mom.
